I need to take him to get his teeth cleaned, but I’m really worried because I don’t have a lot of money at all.. If he needs to get tooth extractions, which he probably will, I don’t think I can afford it at all (from what I’ve seen online, its super expensive.)
What worries me even MORE is he hasnt had a dental cleaning in a very long time and he is 12 years old. His teeth are not brushed regularly and he does not like me taking a look or feel in there one bit.
He is my husband’s family’s dog that I just started caring for and this will be his first time that I take him to get his teeth cleaned. Is it crucial to have teeth removed in certain scenarios?
Once again, I just started caring for him around a month ago and he was not recieving proper care with his previous owners. Is dog insurance worth it?....
I know I can afford a cleaning and a few extractions, but if he needs more than 5 teeth extracted, I’m not sure I can pay up.. and yes, I’ve been trying to clean his mouth with some training, I just think it hurts him to chew on things bc he never picks anything up with his mouth or plays unless he needs to. He also has a few missing teeth.
