Ive always wanted a cat, but my family is sort of a dog family. We currently have a black chow chow named Bailey, she's pretty timid but mostly just lazy.
My friend today offered me a kitten because their cat just had a litter, its only a couple weeks old and only needs its shots. I brought up the idea to my mother as sort of. "Christmas gift" type of thing. She immediately shot it down and got upset saying "im not gonna watch a cat die right in front of me." She is a firm believer that Baylie would kill this cat under any circumstance.
I was wondering if anyone knows any ways to make that "friendship" happen. I want this cat super bad, I'll practically do anything
