Introducing puppy to cat.

We have two dogs and one cat. The cat is the newest addition of those three and they all get along okay. However we recently adopted a very energetic Malinois puppy, a few weeks ago, who does not get along with my cat whatsoever. She, the puppy, runs and jumps at my cat whenever she sees him. My cat has been mostly hideing in a turkey baster on top of the fridge whenever she's loose. He comes down when she gone but anytime he comes down when she's there she won't stop trying to get at him. We've tried quite a few times to introduce them by having one person hold each of them. When we do this she clearly wants to get to him and he is clearly uncomfortable. He goes to the top of the fridge as soon as he's let go. Whenever she gets sight of him her tail is wagging, I don't think she actually wants to hurt him. Shes a little bigger than him, but I think if they actually fought he would win. Does anyone have any advice about how to get them at least ok with each other? Staying on top of the fridge all day, when he's not outside, is definitely not good for my cat.
