Hello, So I just got a male short haired syrian hamster about a day ago and i have a fresh cage and everything but the dude smells. His cage already smells strongly and I'm not sure why and its making my room smell. My bf also has a hamster and tells me his hamster doesnt smell. Ive only had mine for one day where his smell has started taking over my room. Is this normal?? I didnt think theyd smell this much so fast? Ive been trying to look around for any places he may be going to the bathroom but i havent noticed any place except his wheel and its hard cause he is still getting used to his new home.
Id appreciate any suggestions or tips :)
