Prepping my cats for renovation work?

I live in a studio apartment with a three season porch, and the new owners are replacing all the old, uninsulated windows with new energy efficient ones. Honestly, in this climate this is long overdue, since my windows are literally just two thin panes of glass without any kind of weather stripping or things like that.

I've just been visited by the window guy to let me know I'm next on his list, with scaffolding going up this weekend and he'll start work in earnest towards the middle of this upcoming week as he finishes with my neighbor, starting with the outside and eventually needing access to the inside.

I've sort of turned my porch into the "cat room", where I have most of their toys, the litter box, and a couple cat trees that look out onto the street where most of the trees are visible. I'm going to have to clear it out for the window guy so he has enough room to work unimpeded. So this means moving the cat trees and the litter box out, which I can deal with, but undoubtedly will be a change for the cats.

So on to my two cats: Kira and Deanna. Deanna is a curious cat who I have no doubt will weather this fine. She loves visitors, and is insanely curious. I may need to come up with some kind of solution to keep her out of his hair, though, mostly so she doesn't get hurt on accident.

The guy isn't just replacing my windows, he's replacing much of the wooden frame too, so there's debris, the possibility of something unintentionally coming loose and falling, and I just want to make things easy for this guy.

The other cat is Kira, and she is super nervous. Last time I had a guy in to fix my sink while I was at work she hid out under my bed until I got home several hours later. When I first adopted her she developed hepatic lipidosis, which was a whole tale of woe. How can I make things less stressful for her? Does Feliway work for this kind of stuff? I know it's supposed to aid in moving. Any other things I can do for her? I'm thinking maybe of putting food and water under the bed, and positioning the litter box nearby. Given where my bed is relative to the porch, it should be a relatively private area.

I'm probably overthinking it, but I'm going to be rearranging her whole home, and then a stranger is going to come in and make all this noise for a week, so I kind of think overpreparing isn't a vice here.

Window work is going to take about a week to complete, and I'm not going to be here for a lot of it. I'm trying to arrange as much work-from-home as possible, but there's a lot of it I need to be on-site for.
